YEAR 6 STUDENT EXECUTIVES PARLIAMENT VISIT
On Wednesday the 23rd June the Student Executives had the privilege of spending the day at Parliament House. We were shown around by an enthusiastic and engaging man named Pete. He had all of us captivated by his knowledge of the State Government and his blood thirsty stories about the history of the ‘Speaker’. We were shown through different parts of the building including the Legislative Assembly which is the Lower House, and learnt about the history of the Mace. We were hosted by Robyn Clarke and Jodie Hans in the Swan Room and had a delicious and fancy lunch.
It was an honour to attend Parliament House and spend the day with the Student Executive. Their conduct and behaviour was exemplary.
