Last Wednesday, Kingston PS competed in the Annual Interschool Cross Country Carnival. The carnival is held each year at Adam Rd PS, in Bunbury and has between 20-25 schools competing bringing their top 4 runners from each year group. Due to COVID last year the event was cancelled, so this year the kids were even more excited to run. The weather was perfect for running, with little to no wind and a winters sun peeking through. The students race between 2km and 2.5km depending on their age group, in the end Kingston PS finished 2^nd overall, narrowly being beaten by Bunbury PS for top honours. On the day we had some great individual and team efforts, with Sebastion ’Bash’ Murray and Addison ‘Daylight’ Tanner finishing 1^st, Zenya Basile finishing 2^nd and Emma Lancaster finishing 4^th in their respective races. The year 3 and  4 girls teams finished overall 1^st with their combined points.

Again Kingston set the standard for behaviour and represented our school with the high standards we expect here at Kingston.
