Back to back!

From 65 points down, the mighty Interschool team from Kingston Primary School charged ahead and won the Division 1 Interschool athletics shield by 26.5 points for a second year in a row. The team on Tuesday jumped and threw with some mixed results, but powered home, placing in 11 of the 12 800m races. Leaving us in a positive position to continue on the Friday.  What a start we had on Friday, coming 1st in 5 of the first 12 events, (we actually placed in 10 of those first 12 events!)

Overall, out of the 72 events on Friday, we placed in all but 10 events. An amazing effort by all the students.

Congratulations to our Champion Boy in Year 4 - Sebastian Murray, Champion Boy in Year 6 - Kai Summers and Runner-up Champion Boy in Year 6 - Lewis Fairweather.

I would like to thank the students for the outstanding behaviour, sportsmanship and courage in some very challenging conditions.

I would like to thank the teachers that helped out on the day as well.

So all I have to say now is ‘Threepeat’ sounds good.
